I was born and raised in Memphis, TN. As a young child, I have always been the type to push myself in life. At the age of ten, I lost my father to terminal stomach cancer. He was that critical figure in my life that I always relied on. He taught me life lessons that I still hold within me today. I attended White Station High School, one of the top high schools throughout the City of Memphis. Upon graduation, I decided to attend the University of Memphis since they have an excellent sports business program. As a freshman in college, I was a member of multiple organizations as well as maintaining a high GPA. Of the many organizations I was involved in, I was a part of Scholars Unlimited, Student Government Association, and Sports Marketing Association. Aside from community involvement, I have also been heavily involved within my field of study. I have volunteered/worked for many different sport organizations on campus and throughout the City of Memphis. I have worked with the Memphis Tigers Athletic Department in marketing, promotions, and donations. I have interned with the Christian Brothers Volleyball Team, Greater Memphis Greenline, and now I intern with the Racquet Club of Memphis. I know that is vital to have experience and I have gained numerous aspects of sport business on my portfolio, especially marketing and sales. Upon graduation next summer, I will wear the tie my father would have worn to my college graduation. It will be a special feeling in the hearts of me and my family and it will be one step closer to my career achievements.
